When you search in Google only a limited number of web pages comes to the front and countless with very use full information for you never make it to the top. To deal with this situation, Google facilitates the creation of customized search engines for special needs. This is how it works: You can create your own search tool in Google and add sites that you consider important in relation to your search. Google will carry out its regular search routine, but anything related to you search that appears in the listed sites will rise to the top priority. Such search really become useful when different users add links to the preference list, thus expanding the experience of many internet users.
So we thought it would be cool to create a number of search tools customized for nature, each with a different emphasis. Any user may add links to these customized search engines, and we invite you to add links that you consider relevant to these search tools. As you start using them and add links of relevance, together nature friends and conservationists can build really powerful search tools customized for our own need.
At the moment we have Jael Marquez and Varinia Montesinos in Bolivia review thousands of nature related websites of the entire world to enter in the different search engines and we expect them to be functional before the middle of December 2006. Meanwhile we urge you to enter any website on a nature oriented organization or biological department of a university in these thematic search engines.
